Oak Square - Unit

Prior communication with Host was good. Condo is in a great location, only a half a block off the Gatlinburg Strip. That was all fine and dandy. Other than that, our stay was mediocre at best. The condo did not stand up to other VRBOs we’ve stayed in. There was dirt on floors (hair on floor in bathroom), and dust everywhere. Not sure, but it appeared nobody had stayed there for quite sometime. We had plenty of bath towels but only one hand towel and two wash clothes. Minimal personal items were listed and that’s what you got. Travel size shampoo and conditioner and a small bar of soap. Also advertised was ONE coffee, which was A packet of decaf, no regular. It had both a drip and Keurig(not listed), had we known, we would have taken some Kcups. They also only provided 3 dishwasher pods, we bought a small 4 bottle of dish detergent at Walgreens on the strip to hand was our dishes. The central HVAC unit is literally on the balcony outside the bedroom, and it woke us up almost every time it kicked on. The pools on premises were clean and refreshing. The pics on VRBO’s site make this unit appear larger than it truly is. Luckily it was just my wife and I so space really wasn’t an issue, except in the bathroom. It is a very small bath with no counter space. This is not an ideal unit for more than two people. We loved Gatlinburg and PF, but will definitely look elsewhere on our next trip South.

A short walk to the strip and free parking at the condo!

Nice and clean, love oak square condos…remote but close enough to all needed.
